Japanese Maples

I grew up loving plants, from growing them under lights in my parents basement, to my favorite class in High School was botany.  Japanese maples have always held a special place in my heart.  

So after running a large company for many years, I needed something to do with my time. I’ve never been much  of a golfer and I don’t sit still very easy.  When I moved to Alabama, I found several Japanese maple nurseries close by and over the years ended up with a nice collection and from there Madwind Maples was born.

Madwind Maples specializes in Japanese Maples that have proven to be heat tolerant.  While many maples can take some afternoon sun, most will not thrive in the sun and heat of Alabama.
